Hi all,
As you see from the training dates chart we are aiming for a meeting of 8.30 at the lake this Sunday so that we can all get sorted and be in the water by 9am. The water temp at the moment is reading 18.9C. So we should be ok. The price of a single swim is £5 but last time they charged the children £4 not sure if still the same though. As many parents in the water would be welcome.

The Chapel Stars triathlon at Wildern is in the dates box other races to consider are the Eastleigh triathlon on the 29th May as there is no training and the Bleinheim Palace Tri also on the 4th and 5th May.

Volunteers needed on 1st August to help with the Concorde Tri at Bradfield College. 25 league points awarded to each child who attends. Contact Nick or Mandy to volunteer.

Good luck to all those racing at Bicester this weekend. Please arrive early as we will be walking the course + having a pre race briefing for any 1st timers. I'll also have my bike stand and tools if anyone needs any last minute mechanical checks. We will also have the club gazebo and banner so don't forget those picnics. See you there. Nick

There is a small bike loop next to the lake I'm told, so we can practise transition at the end of the session so bring bikes and helmets and number belts if you have them. Please note the cost of the session is £4 this week.

20th June Fun day at Palmer Park. Training will go ahead as usual, just maybe a little busy!!

This year's club championship is being held at the Bicester Triathlon on 4th July. Entries are still open, but enter ASAP as I'm sure the race will close shortly. As usual trophies will be awarded at the end of the year to the top TVT finishers in each age group. See the 'club league' page for further details.

Please note that Swim training at Bulmershe has changed to Saturday the 5th June at the usual time of 5.30pm. this is for June only.

Please note training at Ashebury will now start at 16.00.

Please check this website before ravelling to training on 18th April. I'm currently stranded in Italy and trying to contact Paul and Simon to ensure they can lead the session. I have not been able to contact them yet.

Please note - this Sunday (14th) we move to Palmer Park Velodrome for training. If possible please wear track mits or gloves

Heavey rain is forecast for Sunday at present, a decision on training will be made Sunday morning.

Providing there is no deterioration in the weather conditions we will attempt to go ahead with Sunday’s session at the Lookout, but please be aware this session may be cut short if the coaches feel the conditions are unsafe.

Due to the weather conditions and the forecast for more snow we are cancelling this Sunday's session for safety reasons.

For the next 2 weeks (10th and 17th Jan) we will be training at the Lookout in Bracknell Forest, meeting in the main car park at 15.00. Please bring Mountain Bikes and run gear. If you don't have a Mountain Bike just bring your run gear.

TRAINING CANCELLED DUE TO BAD WEATHER

Please note the change of time for Sunday training at Rivermead due to the darker evenings. Training now starts at 15.00

TVT's club championships will be held at the Bicester Triathlon on 12th July. Please enter the race early as entries may not be available on the day. Entry forms available at : www.bluefinstri.org

Paul will be holding a mountainbike and run session at the Lookout, Bracknell on Sunday 21st June starting at 16.00. Please arrive 10 mins before the session so everyone can meet in the car park.

Please note the change of venue for training on Sunday 14th June. This will now take place in Ashenbury Park in Woodley. Meeting in the car park at 16.00.

Please note the new swim venue and day. This will now be held on Sunday 17:30 at Bulmersh Leisure Centre
